Alison Wright has been an English actress for over 20 years. The Americans is her most known character. She was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award and received much critical acclaim. In addition, she starred as Bette & Joan on the Ryan Murphy Limited Series Feud. Wright was born in Sunderland on the 12th of July 1976. Her upbringing was influenced by her adopted family. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She went to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as The Barrow Group, both located in New York City. In the process of auditioning for part, she worked as servers. She had been scuba diving as a major passion of hers, when she suffered a cardiac event at sea which left her in an induced state of coma. The following day, she passed away in peace, at the side of her loved ones her side. Wright, who was born at Sunderland within Tyne and Wear on July 12th, 1976 was raised by her adoptive parents. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She attended school at New York City at The Barrow Group and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
